I heard yestersday, from a fairly reliable source, that it has been bought by the Globalia/Oasis group of hotels. Perhaps somebody can confirm or comment to this effect??

They will open in December this year, or December next year, depending on who you believe. Rumour also has it, that Lifestyle Hacienda Resort leased The Bungalows from Globalia, to open for Christmas.

Understandable--the "exaggerations" of the sales force are legendary. The sales staff of the Smelliotts and the sales staff of Lifestyle all went to the same school--"no heat-no eat". It's an old timeshare expression that means you must lie to make sales.

Anyone who gives access to their property and customer base to these people will be on the losing end of the deal--no matter how much rent they pay.
