Have a friend who is looking for someone (preferably in one of the free trade zones) who manufactures jewelry for export. Her pieces use exotic materials, stones, wood, mother-of-pearl, etc.

She has a need for both limited edition and larger scale production.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Here are the Free Zone members who produce jewelery in the DR:

ADOZONA - Empresas Establecidas

Sorry - my link didn't carry through:

1) on this page, click on the left tab that says "Inversion Extranjera", then "Empresas establecidas"
2) Narrow your search by clicking on "Actividad Industrial"
3) Click on "Joyeria" and all companies involved in jewelery manufacturing will come up with contact info

The list includes a contact name, telephone number and e-mail address. Most companies will also respond in English.
