im not here to upset anyone,

vegetarians look away now,

crazy cat lady look away now.

But what is really the difference from eating a domesticated animal to cattle?

its all meat.

a common one, is rabbit, domesticated, but lots of people eat it,

more people than you think eat cat and dog?

even the people of dominican republic, tastes just like chicken, but free.

I have scene 1st hand that rabbits are raised and eaten in the DR. No biggie. But cats and dogs. Maybe you need to go to Thailand.

I am not sure how much this will offend some readers of DR1.
Let's be careful here.

I do know that Haitians are famous for eating cats. That's a fact.
It is also a fact that there is a saying: "Gato por liebre" - which means they have tricked you.

Regarding that I have no opinion. But I will watch where this thread is going.

DR content? Let's see.

In the DR people say; If a Chinese family move in your neighborhood lock your cats, but there are lot of Dominicans "Los come gatos" who like to eat them just for fun specially when they are drunk.
I remember years ago on a Sunday afternoon at "Acapulco" La Vega I was enjoying the fresh water the river when three guys came in front of my daughter and killed a cat that they were carrying inside a sac after this those guys hanged the cat with a piece of wire on a tree, they peeled it in front every body and fixed a "Locrio de gato".

For sure that they invited me to try but I said no thanks

talking about animals I think it is cruel to tight a dog out side in the back yard when the temp. is 19 F. but feels to be 11 because is windy. My next door have a pretty dodgy suffering this cold weather condition just in front of my eyes.
I think that is against the rules of animals protection here in the US.

This has run its course. It would be difficult to add anything pertinent to the discussion.

Nuf said.
