There's a group of new condo buildings going up at the west end of Boca Chica beach (toward the marina). The western most building looks like it may be completed and the eastern most one is still just cement block. Anyone have any info on them? My usual contacts at the Boathouse bar couldn't shed any light.

I understand that while the market is slow, the condominiums are selling. The beach front in Boca Chica is very nice.

They should change the name of that place to Boca Sucia. Yuck. And Tamo, the Boca thumb is on top.
What's surprising is that Cornel has done all this without any advertising. He just sold to all his contacts.

I have swapped a few emails with the owner/developer Cornel Raess. He was in the process of acquiring a small hotel up the road from the main bldgs and was planning to incorperate that into the dream village also. He has arranged to manage the condos for the owners so I imagine rentals can be arranged. You can contact him directly through the web site mentioned earlier in this thread.
