Just for your info... I am told by Canadian Immigration that changing to a married name is not a problem. All immigration papers submitted must be under the same name (the maiden name) as that is how the visa to Canada will be issued. This is all that is needed to enter Canada. The passport remains in the maiden name and once in Canada can be changed at the Dominican Consulate in Canada. You will have to keep a copy of your marriage certificate with you while travelliong until all of your documents agree. The marriage certificate will explain any name difference until then.
