Casa de Campo in AA Magazine
Celebrated Living, American Airlines First Class passenger magazine,
features Casa de Campo in its Summer 2007 edition. The magazine ranks the
La Romana Resort as one of the 10 best resorts in the Caribbean. Teeth of the Dog
golf course is listed as one of the 20 best golf course.

Westin opening May 2008
The Westin Roco Ki Beach & Golf Resort is slated to receive its first tourists in May 2008,
according to Nicky Tawil, president of Macao Beach Resort, Inc., the lead developer of Roco Ki
property. The hotel is especially targeting the weddings and honeymoon market. A Starwood
Hotels and Resorts World Wide operation, the Westin will have 315 accommodations, including 56
condominium hotel suites and 20 bungalows, in addition to a variety of residential vacation
property designed to be built over the next 15 years. The Westin will be the anchor of the
Roco Ki luxury hotel and residential community in Macao, Punta Cana. A golf course designed
by Nick Faldo is a highlight of the complex. Roco Ki is located on Macao Beach, 19 miles north
from the Punta Cana International Airport.

Infogolf America in the DR
Occidental Hotels & Resorts is sponsoring the Occidental Trophy 07 golf championship this coming
14 July at the Guavaberry Golf & Country Club in Juan Dolio. The event is part of the Latin American
golf circuit, Infogolf America. The winners will represent the DR in the finals scheduled for Acapulco,
Mexico in March 2008. The tournament is held since 1998 and played in 25 destinations in Latin America,
including sites in Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Panama, Peru, Colombia, Venezuela and
now the DR. The tournament is televised by ESPN2's "Sobre el Green" program that is seen by a Latin
American audience estimated at 6.9 million viewers.

Villanueva is CHA Exec of the Year
Arturo Villanueva, executive vice president of the National Hotel & Restaurant Association,
was named the Association Executive of the Year, Large Association Category, in the Caribbean by the
members of the Caribbean Hotel Association for 2007. The announcement came during the Caribbean
Hotel Association's Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Conference held in June in Miami.
