The Ministry of Public Health’s Epidemiology Department Coronavirus Bulletin #180 says 693 cases were reported positive to PCR tests in the past 24 hours. Some 3,432 first PCR tests were processed for the 14 September deadline. This is below the 14-day average for first PCR tests that is at 3,769 PCR tests.
The 24-hour positivity rate for Bulletin #180 increased to 20.19 from 16.41% for the previous bulletin. Nevertheless, over the past four weeks, the positivity rate continues to gradually decline and is now at 26.48%.
As per Bulletin #180, with the deadline of 14 September 2020, the Ministry of Public Health has registered 104,803 confirmed cases since the first case on 1 March 2020. PCR testing is 40,724 tests per million inhabitants.
