The Ministry of Public Health’s Epidemiology Department Coronavirus Bulletin #299 reports 1,506 new PCR cases for the Monday, 11 January 2021 deadline. The 7-day nationwide average for PCR confirmed cases is 1,277, up from the previous 7-day average of 1,083.
Labs carried out 5,465 first PCR tests, much more than the 14-day average that is a low 4,098. The country can process 10,000 PCR tests a day.
The 4-week positivity rate is 20.00%, continuing the upward trend. The 24-hour positivity for the day is 27.56%, up from the previous day. The number of reported active cases is now 42,494, up from the previous day.
No new deaths are reported for the Monday, 11 January 2021 deadline, none occurring in the previous 24 hours of the deadline.
