Ines Aizpún, executive editor of Diario Libre, recommends attending the 30th Visual Arts Biennial at the Museum of Modern Art in Plaza de la Cultura in Santo Domingo. The exhibition is open through 15 December 2023, with around 150 works that participated in the contest.

She observes that this year, the organizers are exhibiting winning works of past years so these can be in constrast to the winners of the 2023 Biennial. “An excellent opportunity to understand how the different generations of Dominican artists have evolved and understand, with the works on display, if today’s art has something new to say. If there are artists who at least try.”
