It’s time to enjoy a selection of best plays as the Ministry of Culture engages in the splurge of 21 theatrical productions for the 2024 National Theater Festival (Fenate). The event will take place nationwide with performances by around 350 artists at theaters and venues from 20 to 30 October 2024. This year, playwright Basilio Nova and acclaimed actress and lighting designer Lillyanna Diaz will be honored.

The inaugural ceremony will be held at the Eduardo Brito National Theater in Santo Domingo under the theme “Theater is for Everyone.”
