The National Institute for Traffic and Transportation (Intrant) is in the final phase of ending left turns from Av. Winston Churchill onto Av 27 de Febrero in the capital city. The move would be made to relieve congestion on the street, Diario Libre reports.

Going south on Av. Winston Churchill, drivers will need to cross the 27 of February and continue two streets to the intersection of Av. Sarasota with Av. Jimenez Moya (as the Churchill is renamed at that more southern point). At present, drivers have the option of doing a U-turn at the Av. 27 de Febrero intersection, to then take an eastbound street to Av. Abraham Lincoln to take the Av. 27 de Febrero in the eastbound direction. It is not clear if this U-turn will continue to be allowed.
