The Ministry of Interior and Police has cleared restaurants, clubs, event centers, and piano bars, discos and casinos to remain open and sell alcohol to 3pm Sunday to Thursday, and until 4am on Fridays and Saturdays. The rescheduling is effective 10 December to 5 January 2026.

The Christmas schedule does not apply to colmadones that need to close at midnight.

Moreso, businesses are allowed to remain open all night on Christmas Day, 25 December and New Year’s Day, 31 December 2025.

The new alcohol sales and night spot schedules are also a call for extra caution for those commuting at night.
