Does anyone know how to access the main entrance to this park near San Jose de Ocoa? There is little information online. There are some maps, they have little detailed information. Thinking of taking a trip to visit this new national park.

Can't find it either on any map but it is on the Nizao river and includes the Presas Jig?ey y Aguacate. so this general area...

The two lakes in the middle of the google map are those dams

Time to call in the locals........AE......any ideas

Couldn't find ay of those places on the google map nor google earth, but I suspect it is the only road that goes north out of Bani that leads to the park because it heads up towards those dams passing Reserva Cientifia Loma Barbacoa. Makes sense it follows a valley north south.....from the Ocoa road you would have to pass over a range of hills.

This country is full of almost hidden valleys.....

Sounds like a place to visit from the Listin article........a pleasant day trip from the city beckons.....especially with Xmas/New Year coming soon.
