irate: policeI think the most interesting thing, that was kinda overlooked in this thread, is that Rio Verde got shut down too. Everyone who knows the North Coast knows that Rio Verde was off limits to law enforcement for years, supposedly it's owned but the sister of the general who lives in that house on the hill across the airport entrance. PN never dared to touch that place, so the fact that they got hit is very interesting.
Im guessing if they were fornicating in the Pool, they were also lighting up BLUNTS..

But,back to Sosua. seems the building work at the walled city opposite CESTUR has come to a halt again.Nobody on site today.

Sounds like they're cleaning it up from
PP to Cabarete.
Thats probably because its a Dominican owned place and only caters to
Dominicans. The fact that it was shut down is very telling as it is well outside
of the touristy areas and operates in a more discrete manner.
I think the fact that Rio Verde was hit tells us that nor Illana nor the people from Puerto Plata are behind the shut downs, the orders are coming from Santo Domingo, from someone who doesn't care who Illana, Willy el Chamo, Armando, the general, or even the people behind Ahnvee are.
You are right, it is a developer/s and the central government. It's not a moral thing, it is a money thing.
Then in your 10 years of being in Sosua you haven't made one Dominican friend hahaha.
