This thread will be for discussions about useful phrases in Spanish. Whether you are travelling, at a restaurant, in a store, at a hotel, in the classroom (learning Spanish), on the street, using public transportation or whatever the scenario may be you need to know how to say certain phrases in each scenario.

There are so many resources on the web. I thought it would be good to post some of them here. These phrases are used in the Spanish-speaking world. Not just for the DR or the way it may be said in the DR.

The posts above from SpanishPod101 are examples of what the website has to offer for learning Spanish. Perfect for beginners and an excellent review for higher levels. The visuals are complementary learning material to compliment text book study and other forms of learning.

The site has a wealth of information. You can continue to explore as you wish.

Careful with "I love you", as it doesn´t exactly have the same connotation as "te quiero". It's stronger.

Long time.....¿cómo has estado? Espero que estés bien.

You are right. To express I love you in Spanish for English speakers can be a challenge. I found an article that explains it quite well with examples of what each expression means.
