Air arrivals required to prove they are negative to Covid-19, or take blood test upon arrival

What's going to happen if you test positive? Are you going to be quarantined? Are they going to send you back on the next flight? Is an airline required to let you onboard if you test positive?

So many questions - so few answers.
Just close the airports, no?

A CV19 quick test negative result can be had in as little as 13 minutes.

How many Abbot Labs machines and how many passengers?

The good news is a positive result can be had in only 5 minutes allegedly with a lot of false positives.

And how much time does it require to take each sample and paperwork to be filled out for each passenger? Expect a long wait if you're at the back of the line!

I can’t see them managing this. I lean towards Windys opinion. Close airports then.

I just spoke to my cousin who mans a Covid-19 hot line in NY. She told my that the Quick Tests are virtually impossible to find in NY
So almost anyone coming from NY would have to be tested upon arrival in the DR.

I just saw a video on FB which supposedly was at Cibao international airport and total chaos around this testing. This is not manageable.

Hard to say. How many quick test machines will be at each airport?

Imagine one plane with 130 people and the machine takes 13 minutes for a negative result for those who have no access to a quick test where they came from, like NY.... 28 hours if you have one machine working as fast as it possibly can. Sound good?

It is absolutely ridiculous.

This idea will either be stopped by tomorrow, or they will just close the airports down.

The government is really being tested on this. So this was their idea.
