I do about 3 pig roasts a yr send your Haitian Gardner or friend to get it cheaper I usually pick my pig by pigture couple hrs later it’s in my freezer ready for roasting and prep..30-50 kg 3500-4500 peso
50 kilo? What kind of freezer do you have?

How did they kill them? Barrio style? With a Tramontino 20 Pesos knife trying to stab the heart? Do it yourself or at least provide them a sharp “matavaca”.
The pig was killed at the pig farm.. shot in the head and stuck from the throat through the heart to bleed. It was hung up before it was killed. Of course the blood was kept to make morcilla. Haven't you ever seen a pig slaughtered??

I'll make the mofongo and Broccoli Salad, but I ain't cookin' no pig.

It's get-ready-for-pig-roasting time of the year again.
Always cheaper to get your pig before hand, prices spike in december.
Got mine 2 weeks ago and now in the process of fattening him up 😆😆😆
