Cancelled flights EWR/POP in January

Anyone else hear anything about this? Seems odd cancelling flights so far in advance.

Not only airlines are hurting because of CV19.
Boeing is facing a 29% loss in sales and will continue with massive lay off's.

Passenger demand is way down and will continue to be so.

Just spoke with my daughter (It was her flight on United for Jan 21 out of EWR that was cancelled). She called yesterday to find out why it was cancelled and got no info.
