By the end of 2021, there still might not be enough vaccines to go around. There are delays in production causing delivery problems.a vaccine is whats needed in the DR....now...
One world leader, not the brightest bulb in the UK, has already warned his countrymen they should prepare to be re-vaccinated, which will cause even more distribution issues as time goes on.a vaccine is whats needed in the DR....now...
people should look at Israel... and how much covid infections are down....One world leader, not the brightest bulb in the UK, has already warned his countrymen they should prepare to be re-vaccinated, which will cause even more distribution issues as time goes on.
Of course. The problem is needing 7.8 billion dose (X2 for some of the more popular vaccines). That is what is causing a bit of a delay in deliveries.people should look at Israel... and how much covid infections are down....
... plus the fact that the richest and most powerful nations are buying up everything available.Of course. The problem is needing 7.8 billion dose (X2 for some of the more popular vaccines). That is what is causing a bit of a delay in deliveries.
I think it depends on location. I don't go to the capital much, but when I do go I see about 95% compliance with masks. Social distancing doesn't exist, except in some of the bigger stores when there are lines out the wazoo. Could you imagine social distancing on a guagua? Is there any success in getting the Dominicans to "socially distance" and wear masks? I know it has been hell getting the Puerto Ricans into any sort of compliance and that island has had to go in and out of very heavy lock downs. I have difficulty imagining Dominicans staying 6 feet apart. I remember when the Metro first came into service and the guards were trying to keep just one person each in the molded seats - hopeless.

I hope your fellow passengers appreciated your thoughtfulness. We came back from the East Side today on a guagua and I didn't wear one because I had a window seat with an open window.
Great! My cedula just expired and I'm waiting supposedly two or three months for my Permanent Residency to be approved!Good news! Legal residents with up to date documentation and that meet the requirements -- same as for Dominican citizens -- can show up to be vaccinated here.
