CPS has become unreliable

I have been using CPS and a couple other shippers for several years.
Originally CPS was reliable, but of the last 14 months they have fallen off the cliff
The problem is not in DR but in Miami.

A year ago I ordered a car part that showed delivered in Miami but never showed in their system.
So I ordered again and shipped to EncargoPaq, got it a week later and installed it.
Then after 6 weeks the part finally showed in CPS system delivered in DR ( I no longer needed it)

Again, same thing, ordered a sensor for my SUV, and it was delivered in Miami 8 days ago and still it does not show in CPS system.
A $139 sensor.
I will be forced to order again and this time no more CPS for me.
This is the 3rd or 4th package lost by them, - and no recourse. I'm out $139.

So be careful and watch your shipments

I'm close to reaching 2000 packages with Domex without a hitch. They also offer free home delivery. FWIW, they also handle US Consulate deliveries, and marbete deliveries for INTRANT. You may want to check them out.

I like BM Cargo and I have a corporate account with them. Good rate and since "end of crazyness in pandemic" -- late spring early summer, I get packages in Higuey about 2 work days after they had been received in Miami.

I agree regarding CPS. Things arrive in Miami and take about 3-4 days, sometimes longer, to be embarked. I have been with them for many years and have a good rate but I'm thinking of changing.

Well that's not going to work, as I live in Sosua so driving there to pickup my small packages would cost too much gas

CB, did you miss this part of JD's original post?

"Go with DOMEX and they'll deliver to your home."

So will the most of the others, but I don't want to stay around the home waiting on a small package all day and my dogs are not delivery-person friendly.

I'm having exact same problems with CPS.
