Look, a murder of a young college gal tourist is horrible optics for tourism. Even with just the name "Punta Cana" associated with this sort of crime, blasted across all major international media publications, is bad, really bad. I get that many people feed their families based on tourism. Up to now, the hotel or its staff, or any locals for that fact do not seem to be implicated.

The most important thing is the family gets answers and closure as to what happened to their young daughter. In this fashion, the boy and whomever else can be adjudicated and either incarcerated or set free. And the parents will have closure.
