Just came back from Sosua, on Tuesday March 18th, 2008. Will post a short report in the near future. Stayed at Marco's Condo 44 in Trade Winds, had ribs at Rocky's. Visited La Mulata, Jewish Museum. Marco's team was very helpful and reliable. I want to thank Marco for the service. I'll be back.

I've just read about an epidemic DF in North of DR. How do the expats view DF and deal with it ? Is it a major/scary concern ? There were 50 deaths last year in DR from DF. Thank you.

I'd like to hear opinion wrt the choice you made to move to Dominican. Had been other alternatives on your list, i.e., other Caribbean contries, which you investigated ? What reasons made you pick DR instead ?

What is your experience with Dominican viruses, bacteria, etc. ? Last year, I had some sugar cane in SD and after a few days got fever. This year, in PP, my wife got strong fever too. No anitibiotics, but it lasted for 2 weeks, almost. I'm curious about the non-Domincans', especially North...
