I have done a few different searches but have found little on the hotel situation in Miches. I know there are a few hotels, Hotel la loma and one called bahia del este. Can anyone give me any info on either of these or any other hotel in Miches. Links to websites or contact info would be great.

I lived in the DR for a few years from 95 to 97 and often traveled from el seibo to miches on a road that was often being worked on. I'm wondering if anyone has traveled that stretch recently and could tell me how the road is. I'm going to be back in jan. and would like to take the trip again...

I have heard various times that delta might be starting flights between santo domingo and atl. Has anyone heard the same or have any information on that?

I am going to be with a group of graduate students in Santo Domingo from the 18-27 (Jan). And although we will be doing volunteer work during the day we are looking for things to do at night. Are there any special events going on at that time? Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.
