I’m literally always in Santiago, all over the place and I can say that it’s way way cleaner than the Capital… Im from NYC so shopping, malls and things of that nature are most definitely NOT what I’m looking in a Caribbean Country. I have Soho, Madison Ave and more choices than I can count on...

I don’t doubt that, it’s a growing city but we are comparing the 2 cities overall, not just the traffic. I do know that the traffic is insanely worst in Santo Domingo and that’s a fact!

Agree 1000 percent!! Some folk act like driving 45 mins to a beach is a long commute. Santiago is my choice and has been for many years. The Capital is way to stressful for me, I go overnight and can’t wait to get on that highway, stop to eat at Jacaranda or if I wanna spend a little more...

I’m sure this has been covered in the past. Just looking for updated points of view. Im team Santiago… The calmer lifestyle, less traffic, the cleanliness, the air quality and the overall vibe. What are your thoughts guys.

Not sure what you had to eat but the times I’ve been there I truly enjoyed my meals, the Deserts and the service. I guess it’s all objective. My overall experience was good, I won’t say it’s the best but definitely not “average “ in my opinion.
