Just got an email from Jet Blue. It has a sale on flights originating in the DR to cualquier destino. Fares start at $59 (one way) plus $80 tax. Tickets must be bought by tomorrow night (10/1) and travel is 10/14 to 12/18 with some restrictions on the dates. I don't think I can post a link.

Two hours were barely enough for me and my family to get through ticketing, baggage and emigration check last week. There may have been an overabundance of travellers because of the earlier weather-related flight cancellations. What kind of experience has anyone else had?

Our driver told us two hours would be sufficient to get through PUJ on our way out last Wednesday, but we should have allowed for another hour. I don't know if the US weather troubles last week contributed to the problem or if PUJ is normally chaotic. The long slow line at Jet Blue may have...
