My experience is that a EU-QR code is also accepted in the DR as proof of vaccination. The International QRT codes shows all the required info, dates, vaccines etc

I was told by the airline (Tui) that unless I had an E-ticket we would be denied boarding at Brussel airport. So not denied because I had an e-ticket but told I would be denied if I didn't have one.

It is true that we were not asked for the QR-code on the way out. But we were asked to show it (and it was scanned) on the way in. This was at SDQ. Of course my experience is only anecdotical and, like many rules in the DR, the e-ticket might not be enforced. Either way, I just posted to share...
