Only one location in Sosua. Next closest is in Cabarete. The previous location had two or three cashiers. The new location only has room for one cashier.

Western Unión has moved as of May 1 and it is a nightmare now. One cashier only and you are forced to stand on the sidewalk on Dr. Rosen in the sun if there are more than 6 people inside. And there is always a line outside. I personally will drive to Western Union in Janet's in Cabarete...

I used públicos to go to Puerto Plata on Saturday. So I was in 4 different públicos to go and come back. All four drivers said one week to be open but when I crossed the bridge to come back I asked a senior looking National Police officer and he said 2 weeks.
