Hi,

I love to play NL hold'em poker tourneys, not the usual cash games they play everywhere in the casinos.

Are there such tourneys around on the North Coast?

There are tournaments in the Ocean Sands Casino in Cabarete. They used to be held on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9pm. I'm not certain whether the dates and times are still the same. $100 buy in.

Every Tue/Sat 7pm RD$3,000 entry - rebuys and add-on
Feb. 20, 4pm RD$15,000 entry - no rebuy
May 1, 4pm RD$15,000 entry - 1 rebuy-1 add-on
May 21-29 World Poker Showdown (Navigation | World Poker Showdown)

And the Ocean World 15000 peso tournaments are very well run.

The food is top notch as well but it tends to get eaten before a bit quickly. Probably because it is so good??
