Superbowl in Santiago?

Can anyone recommend a good place to watch the Superbowl in Santiago? Somewhere with a large screen televison would be nice.

Yeah. Thought about the Ahi Bar since they have the big projection TVs. But the crowd there never really struck me as the Superbowl type. World Cup maybe. But probably not Super Bowl.

On Restauracion, maybe 4 blocks down from the Provocon chicken joint. Cabbies should know it.

Santiago DR
Five Star Sports is laid back and very relaxing, even has sport betting. The Pina Colada is outstanding, but no food is served. There are about 50 new Sony tvs to watch several events.

It is on the same street as Pez Dorado, I think it is Sol but I am not sure. Any taxi should know. It is the largest Sportsbook in the DR.

The problem with Five Star...and other Sports Book bars in the DR is you are not allowed to cheer!! Or in general get too excited or too upset when either team scores...

TGIFridays may be a good spot for the Super Bowl...

Out 27 across from PUCMM is another good possibility, even though it's a sports book, you can cheer and it feels more like a sports bar than a betting parlor...

FYI: Davidoff Cigars will have a SuperBowl fiesta at the Courtyard on a big screen. I don't know if it is open to the public, but I think you could probably do worse...

I still have not found out if SKY will have CBS!!!

Not on Sol. On Restauracion at the top of the hill.

5 Star will have the Superbowl in English and will be playing the commercials as well. Calle Restauracion.

I will be watching at home with cigars, booze and working all the while...The idiots at SKY do not have CBS so I can't invite you to come to the Jardines and drink beer at colmado prices and yell all you want!! If this changes within the next 24 hours I will POsT HERE

You might very well get it on a Spanish station. I think ESPN Deportes might have it. Search around, you may get lucky.
