From Punta Cana to Sosua

Hi,

can anyone tell me which is the best & fastet for traveling from Punta Cana to Sosua. Are there any bus companies who drive from there to POP or even directly to Sosua?

And how much would that be?

Thinking about flying into PUJ instead of POP, because it is about USD 370 cheaper. :ermm:

I just came back from "near Sosua", driving to Higuey. It is a stressful drive (because of time). It's 5 and 1/2 hours normal driving, plus stops. I used the Moca mountains road, then Duarte highway, crossing SD and then East.... if you can fly, FLY.

fly to POP better. there are no direct buses from PC to POP/sosua. there is only driving or flying and both options are expensive. plus driving is rather stressfull.

Any idea which days they fly please and how often?

Best take Expresso Bavaro from Punta Cana to Santo Domingo and from there either Metro or Caribe Tours arrives until Sosua. I like Metro better, because it only stops once in Santiago.

Punta Cana (PUJ) to Puerto Plata (POP) = We., Fr., Su. at 06:00 pm for U$ 150.00
