Best Time Of The Year To Go To Punta Cana?

I want a time of the year where the rain fall is very very low and the malaria mosquitos are not biting.

Is February a good month for Punta Cana with the above criteria in mind? Do I need to be concerned about malaria coming from mosquitos in February?

February is a great time to go. The fact is, other than the increased risk of encountering a storm during hurrricane season (July-October) the weather doesn't vary that much seasonally. It's a tropical climate, not a desert, so if you're there for more than a few days you are likely to have some rain. As far as malaria is concerned............. it's so rare there is no real reason to even consider it in your decision.
