In Spanish, fiberglass (or fibre glass in British spelling) is fibra de vidrio. Since I don't live in Santo Domingo I cannot help you with locating it.

Ask any of the auto-body shops. Ochoa for sure, and probably Americana de Departamentos. You can't really expect to find 5? hamburger incredients in Tiffany's can you?

You want to find this is the upper class section of Santo Domingo? See if there is a car repair shop nearby, in one of the back streets, perhaps...

Thankyou, never thought about car repair shops, there is an autosounds place across the road, I'll have a look in there. Many thanks all.

I bought Fiberglass and the mixture at Ochoa in Santiago.
Used it to cover a base pan for my Inverter Batteries.

fibra de vidrio, and you will (maybe) also need resina and secante
Any ferreteria will carry it ... good amounts of all three (above) should cost less than 200 pesos.
