I saw a song title by El vakero " El Tiguereaje Domincano" - I think a tiguere is a tough guy , right? But what is " Tigueraje " then in English? thks

Seriously, tigueraje means someone who has labia (gift of the gab), cunning, a chulo (cute, attractive), sometimes a thug, homeboy..
the second part of your post is right but a chopo is the opositive of tiguere.
El tiguere o tigre es el que se la save todas y una mas.... A politician guy is considered like a tiguere con corbata, this is a very smart guy who never went to college but he a have diploma.
Un tiguere te vende a ti y te hace cargale los cuartos y tu ni cuenta te das.
El Chopo es algo asi como un pariguayo, un tipo de barrio que viste mal y no tiene educacion.
So be clear at this point Tigueres and Chopos are very differents.

Chopos y pariguayos are two different animals. There are chopos who are t?gueres, and pariguayos who are chopos. But you don't have to be one in order to be the other.
As a founding member of DR1's Pariguayos Unidos, I find it offensive to be considered a chopo.
If I ever move back, I'll start a Pariguayos Ateos club. The sign will say: chopos, t?gueres, and short-haired freaky people need not apply.
