As anyone in the DR knows the earthquake in Haiti destroyed most homes and offices. The United Nations and it's employees were serious affected. That is why now the UN is setting up a support Office in Santo Domingo which will have roughly 300 people. These people will need housing for the immediate future (next three months) and then longer once things settle and become more permanent. Therefore I am appealing to those on DR1 to let me know if you or anyone you know is willing to rent furnished apartments or houses close to or ideally in Central SD, monthly rent, no long term contract but with security deposit. Again, once all the formalities are completed especially with the DR govt this short term will eventually be long term.
