A couple of years ago, I visited "Cueva de Cabarete" in El Choco.

Does anyone know if this still exists?
Is it worth a visit visit now?
Is it safe to bring the whole family and children there?
What are the entrence fees?
How to find it by car?

Thanks for any input

Hi Hoffi!
It still exists.
It is definately worth a visit, maybe not for the children in the descent 30 meters below the surface.
We payed RDS 1000 for the two of us with private guide.

Look for the sign on the right side of the road coming from Sosua. On the corner there are a lot of motoconcho standing around. It is across from Ocean Dream.
Follow that road and you will come across it at the end.

Active Cabarete: El Choco National Park

We'll be there in a week, would it have changed, we'll let you know.

The tour of the caves hasn't changed, but the guides now offer a boat tour around the lagoon.....give it a try.....
