Getting to Santo Domingo's airport at night

I have a flight out at 4AM and am wondering how to get to the airport between 10PM and midnight. Maybe someone knows how much a cab ride is or if there are buses. Thanks ahead of time.

There is no public bus service at any hour of the day. The taxi drivers don't allow it. You don't say where you're comming in from. If you're on a budget and comming from the capitol you could take a guagua to the airport access road and then a moto (or maybe a cab) the last mile into the terminal.

The fare, last time I checked, with Apollo Taxi, was RD$1000 to the airport. At that time of the night I would suppose there might be an additional 15% or so......Worth it, they are the best taxi service in the capital..

wow $1000RD is a deal from the capital, HB where is that coming from? zona colonial? anywhere in particular?

RD$900 to RD$1000 has been the price for a few years at least. That's what I pay from Bella Vista Mall to the airport. If you are paying more it's probably because you are using a hotel taxi.
