There is a travel advisory posted in listindiario.com that public works will be closing Tuesday and Wednesday the Buena Vista roundabout at the La Romana exit to Casa del Campo, Bayahibe, and Higuey. The location will be closed to traffic from ten pm to six am for a road resurfacing project. The road will be open during the day with restrictions.
This is one of two vital road links from the capitol to the east. The other route is via Hato Major - El Seibo - Higuey
