I am aware many banks in the Dominican Republic have current accounts in Peso's, U.S Dollars and Euro's.
Is anyone aware of any bank that caters for the British Pound?

Many thanks

and if someone is soending you money in pounds, it will come out in pesos or dollars?

It's a valid question. Many banks here offer Euro accounts so why not a UK sterling account? Right now would be a great time to move money from a US Dollar account to a UK Pound account.

I recently asked Santa Cruz and they said no, only pesos, dollars and euros. This was the Sosua branch.

Just had an e-mail back from Santa Cruz, no pound accounts!
Rubio, please don't think I was trying to prove you wrong, I just wanted to check!
