Is there a concept of Fiduciary Duty in the DR? I have/had? a business partner here whom I supported financially (both business expenses and his personal expenses) for the last two years. Last year he moved out of the apartment I was supplying him without notice taking everything with him. Now I have discovered (as he is using our company email address and some of the suppliers have responded copying me) that he has set up another company with someone else and has completed the orders we were working on and using our suppliers to do this. I have tried calling him but he does not respond and I do not know where he lives now however I do know the address of the new company. In the US there is the concept of Fiduciary Duty where he is supposed to act in good faith to our company... is there anything like that in the DR? Can I sue him or the new company? Thanks
