Congrats to you... best of luck!
? for you... overall process cost? govt fee's, etc.
If I may ask..
Hola Kiko (funny, that’s my husband’s nickname lol)
HERE ARE THE FEES IN DOLLARS:
I-130 Application: $355
Affidavit of Support (AOS): $70
Visa Fee: $400
NEED DONE IN DR:
All legal documents from DR need to be officially legalized* by the Junta Electoral (always get 2 original copies). Each document is $200 Dominican pesos.
Example: If either one of you was born in DR, or if any of you married or divorced in DR – need original copies of each event and all need to be legalized.
*Legalized – This is done at the Junta Central Electoral of your area. They put a white sticker on the back of the document with a bar code on it and a signature.
Need done prior to sending paperwork in:
All documents in another language other than English need to be translated and notarized. This usually costs about $15 per document/per copy needed. It is best to get two copies for each document (i.e. marriage certificate, divorce decree, birth certificates).
PRIOR TO THE CITA:
Pay $16 (dollars or pesos equivalent) at Banco Popular
Medical Exam fees vary depending on age and sex (i.e. my husband is 30 and his was total $289). This can be paid in dollars or pesos equivalent.
At the Cita, pay $12-16 (dollars or pesos equivalent) for Domex – document delivery service.
Other than that, I just paid for overnight fees because I sent all my paperwork via UPS – always track your packages!
