What are (if any) the problems/legalities of importing interns from the US & or Europe into the DR to work 3 to 6 months in the tourism/hotel industry ?.

So, there is no equivalent in the DR of a "J-1 visa status" as there is in the US to bring interns in for tourism/hospitality purposes for short periods (3/6 months)?.
