Can you get pain killers in DR, like Vicodin(hydrocodone) I have back problem and can only bring 30 day supply. Thank you

Most meds you can buy without a prescription, but meds on the "narcotics" list, such as strong pain killers and tranquilizers, require a prescription on a special form, not the usual doctor prescription pad.
Since you will probably be seeing a doctor who does not know you, I would suggest bringing documentation of your need for this med from your home doctor.
