Winnie is a 3 year old female Dobermann currently living in the North coast area. She has been 'spayed' and is innoculated and wormed up to date.

She gets on well with people and children, plays with other dogs but is not keen on cats! She measures 67 cm (just over 26 ins) and she is both house-trained and car-trained.

She was taught obedience by Sebastian and now seeks a new loving home with someone who will give her the attention and care she deserves.

Getting desperate now....

blonde_for_life, I sent you full contact details - please get in touch if you are still interested in adopting Winnie.

As her previous owner has vacated the property which he sold, Winnie, this truly lovely female is currently spending a short holiday at Judy' Pet Lodge in Sosua.

Surely, someone will give her a good permanent home again???? Is so, please post or PM me.

Winnie has her new home....

Unfortunately, no-one came via DR1 to offer Winnie a new home. As it was imperative that she was separated from the other dogs after her owner's move, she was housed at Judy's Pet Lodge as a paying customer when, just by chance and via Asociacin De Amigos Por Los Animales De Sosa, Inc., a lady in real need of a beautiful Dobermann like Winnie, was seeking a new friend, protector and companion due to the demise of her former elderly Dobermann. Winnie is now contented and spoiled in her new environment and offers her new owner much devotion and protection.

So, DR1 members did not come up 'trumps' for Winnie but this site has worked brilliantly in rehoming a number of other dogs in recent times.

Lucky, the sad Rottie pup, who is now enjoying a lovely home with Conchman and growing into a beautiful teenager.

Luca, the Dobermann, has two small chihuahuas to boss her around down in Cabarete.

Barney was here with us a very short time until he travelled across country with his new owner and is now happy and settled in Higuey.

Kudos to all!!!

Is that "sad Rottie pup" the one across thwe aisle from Winnie at Judy's ....3rd kennel on the right? Abandoned by boarding at Judy's by the German ? Less than 1 yr old? Beautiful looking dog/puppy?
Whoever gets that dog is lucky, indeed.

We couldn't take on a pup like that at this time of year..., it was early June.

No, William... the sad tale of Lucky and it's happy ending is here http://www.dr1.com/forums/living/100032-what-shouldnt-happen-mans-best-friend.html and Page 4 shows the wonders which both Conchman and Dr. Bob have done with Lucky.

The other young Rottie to which you refer was boarded at Judy's and appeared to have been abandoned. He has now been collected by his German owner and the boarding fee has been paid in full.

Thank you Twirly,, my wife and i were very concerned about about that puppy.... so was Judy... and not just for the fee :))

I hope the owner appreciates having it back... b/c we could have adopted it the day we were there..... could have been "GoodBye, German man"

Alls well that ends well

WW

BTW, do you deliver your roasted pigs as far as Cabrera?

thx WW
