Any wireless internet providers in the DR ?

Does that technology already exists in the DR , if so which areas are covered , how reliable and what are the companies offering this ?

I've got Orange WiFi internet and since I installed an external antenna I'm very pleased with it, but do check what the supplier says about coverage on site. Orange says all Las Terrenas is covered but it isn't hence the external aerial. Even so it varies with the weather! The companies maps really don't show the complete picture.

On the north coast I use Viva Interjet without any problems at all. Cost is about 50 US a month.
