Giant belts in Santiago...

I been finding a lot of pictures of Dominican women wearing giant belts, and there was also a video that was posted here that also had women with giant belts-- they all seem to be from Santiago. Is this a fashion mostly there or is it all over the country?

It is all over and it is damn ugly. Only the very tallest thinnest women look good in this.....

It is horrible on short overweight women - causes all kinds of things to hang out.
