is it possible to find studio/1 BR type apartment rentals for a DR citizen in a 'local' but halfway decent area of POP?
any ideas re the approx. range of rents?
what's the best way to look: newspaper? agencies?

my friend is renting in a building on a main street of a barrio so decent location within local "community". one bedroom (really small) apt is a bit above 3000 pesos a month, say, 100 dollars.
