Hello everyone....

Im wondering if some of you know some way to ship a car from Ca to DR..


Its a Nissan Maximan 2003..

if u have some info about this matter pls let me know

The tax will be an issue... not insurmountable, but steep.
Nothing new about that. If you truly want that car In the DR... you'll get it.

As for transportation, the first thing I would do is investigate the comparative cost of going overland to the east coast.... or shipping by sea through the Panama Canal.

A bigger problem then the taxes is the fact that the car is 7 years old. They are cracking down on not allowing cars older then 5 years in to the country. So no matter the taxes you can't ship it here.
Just FYI i shipped a car a few years ago and the cost of the shipping, taxes and registration was about 50% of the vallue of the car.

If it is older than 5 years forget about sending it. The government just issued press releases warning owners not to import those cars.
