the price of medical services is ok providing you have an insurance. monthly changes differ depending on company and plan, say about 2000 pesos for a good plan.
meds are sold over the counter save for few controlled substances like morphine and similar pain management drugs and some psychiatric stuff.
dental care is cheap comparing to usa or uk but not cheap for dominicans, i'd say.
