Aman Resorts in Playa Grande

Was reading that a new luxury Aman Resort is coming to Playa Grande, but I couldn't figure out two things:

1. When will it open?
2. Is that the Playa Grande on the north coast near Rio San Juan, or another Playa Grande elsewhere on the north coast?

Any help appreciated.

The "When" question has no answer now... that I know of.
Indefinite.

The "where"... yes, the Rio San Juan , Playa Grande area.

There are survey stakes that appear and disappear from time to time..... a work in progress

It was a resort... once.
Looks like "Planet of the Apes" now

Look at the buildings there

Not all bad.... resorts keep the beaches clean...... they remain public

They would be at the extreme north end...... not much public activity there
