I see ocean front apartments for rent for the same price as an apartment in Sosua.

I would really like to hear from those who own property in Punta Cana to describe why a long term renter like myself would want to relocate there.

Calm waters?

Less rain?

Computer repair guy, fishing, store a jet ski or place to store a small boat etc

I know there's a mall with a Tony Romas...wow...never did try those ribs

Before I go I just want to hear what's going on.

I know a couple of people that live in Cortecito, in the heat of Bavaro.
They don't have cars and they don't need them, it's not that hard to get around.

Fully furnished apartments close to the beach can be found for US$4-500 monthly.
But you need to be there and do the leg work yourself.

Concurred but I am not leaving anytime soon as a new development arose today more likely keeping me here in Sosua.

By the way, Captain Cooks in Bavaro was closed by the government. The word is they owe 27,000,000 rd from Itbis payments.

This place had some of the best fresh fish anywhere.

I noticed that too last time I was in Bavaro.

Damn, I loved the grilled lobster with a cold beer and some free mamajuana.

On the beach with my feet in the sand, was the extra +.;)
